Isn't this a mental illness?!

Question: First of all this question has NOTHING to do with me. I saw on tv, and I hope to God that nobody did/does this in real life.

There was this guy that had 30 kittens, and he would kill the mothers of those kittens because he LOVES them screaming and crying.

Isn't that a mental illness? if so what is it called?

This is a very sick individual. Most likely he's a sociopath. What TV show would give this air time?

Probably

Severe fuckedupism ?

It's sadistic behavior and it's not only a mental issue, but a CREEPY mental issue.

seems like a mental illness and also animal neglect and abuse...

I would say so!

psycho!

I would think so. Psychopathy I would think.

Sado-masochism?!... Probably gets off on it, yes it certainly fits the description of been mentally ill, on a serious scale.

I think that it is, indeed, a mental illness. If I had to give it a name, it would be "necromancy".

You need to ask if this is mental illness? Of course it is. Does it have a name? Idk. I've never heard of someone killing animals for "love". Let's just call it depravity or possession.

Geeze I think so. Sure sounds like it.
I tend to think that people who kill other people are mentally ill too...even if only temporarily.
When we are happy and full of love in our hearts, we don't hurt a thing.
