How do you tell someone they stopped you from commiting suicide?!
Question: Just say thank you. If they ask "for what?" then say for being there for me when I needed it most. If you want to tell them that they saved you from committing suicide then please tell them otherwise just leave it at that.

Just tell them that, if you think they can handle you're telling them that you were thinking about hurting yourself.

i tell my friend it all the time, cuz he has stopped me all the time, and i've stopped him, just tell them the truth, and maybe why you wanted to, and how they helped, they would proly be grateful for saving you and stopping you, just tell them straightforward. they should understand.
Try and talk in a heaps calm way, like its no big deal. Convince them life is worth living and try and give them advice for there troubles and problems.
