Start with your regular Dr. tell them about the highs and lows, the whole nine yards. he will probably send you to a preofessional but he may try a mood stablizer for 1-3 months. Whatever meds can make life for you and those in your life very enjoyable. The real deal is never think you feel so good once you get in control that you stop the meds. Some of us need the meds to be on an even keel.

Well.. I also believe I have it, though I haven't been formally diagnosed. I'm also a schizotypal.. but thats off topic.

The best thing to do is track your symptoms to show to your psychiatrist or doctor, and have him/her prescribe you a mood stabilizer. I take trileptal and it really helps control the hyperness and frustruation levels.

See your GP, who will refer you to a psychiatrist.

Bipolar disorder can be managed, but you need a lot of support, and usually medication too.

Get help- medical help. Trust me, you need it if you do have it. Bi-polar can be very stressful.

I feel your pain as I too am going through the same thing right now. It's easier to give advice then to take it. Anyways, I'd see a doctor and get yourself back on track. Life won't always be this way. I'm pretty sure of it. Take a breath and relax.
