How bad is it to be on effexor 225mg?!
Question: ok, i was on 150mg of effexor, which i thought was alot. i did react well to it when i was first put on it but then i started to worsen significantly. i thought my doctor would reccomend another prescription. but instead he is increasing it and i'm shocked to be on so high a dose! and im on trazadone to help me sleep. is it strange to be on such a high dose of effexor?

225mg, had a possitve affect on me last year, it may be that you need to give yourself abit more time on the higher dose. I've recently reduce down from 225mg to 150mg, that took me 8 months. Don't be alarmed if you have had to increase your dose, if it is working it's working. remember your only human and you can go up as well as down. Good luck!

keep doing it bad at first but worth it later
I was on 300 mg and it tore my body to pieces I had pretty much every side effect that there is and decided it wasnt worth it so I started cymbalta yesterday, too early to tell if this one is helping or hurting.
