I cannot get out of bed for school when alarm goes off, what do I do?!

Question: I know how you feel. Instead of waking up to the usuall "beeping" of an alarm clock, I have an alarm clock where I can set it to the radio or a cd too (so I usually wake up to something loud, like Linkin Park). I'll set a series of alarm clocks (like 10 minute intervals from 4:45am- 5:15am). I even set my cell phone to certain times, and I keep it right by my bed, and the darn thing is loud. What also helps is to get an alarm clock that's very loud and annoying, and won't turn off untill you do it, even if it's all day. Place it on the other side of your room, so you have to get up to turn it off. That helps to. You can also ask your parents to set an back-up alarm for you. I hope I helped?

Go to bed earlier!

instead of putting ur alarm clock next to your bed, put it across the room, and it will ring till u gotta get up and turn it off, then u HAVE to get up :D

have some one call you morning call and then call you every 5 minutes til u out the house set tv for 5am on a channel you will watch or favorite dvd

try the sun-rise alarm clock by phillips.

Stop being lazy!!!

1. Get your mom to wake you up
2. If you have a nintendo ds set the alarm and sleep with head phones on.
3. Buy 3 alram clocks
4. Don't do some of your homework and get up early to do it. then eat breakfast and play video games or something

i get up at 5 to do unfinished homework.

honestly ... the "WANT" or "DESIRE" to wake up early in the morning and to go to school .... needs to come from within ..i donno if others do it, but i practise this.. sort of question myself as to why i am doing things the way i am doing or why at all?? and i do get straight answers to these questions ...
i suppose even you have to ask yourself .... WHY?? and once you know why; then comes the CHOICE... and once you've made the choice there's nothing left for you to do... except make more choices.... its like picking one end of the stick.... you pick the other end as well!!! :-) ... and i suppose these little things won't bother you .. once you've made the right choices......

i had this prob,i used to have 5 alarms one that was so loud i had that one so that i had to get up to turn off,and also someone ring me and he wouldnt put the phone down til i was up!
change the tune on your mobile alarm sometimes if you use as an alarm i got too used to it
i also got a wake up call from my landline!! i was preety bad- on medication!!

I'm the same!

I have mine across the room, set to radio and it goes off about 20 minutes before I have to get up so I can hit snooze for another 10 mins before getting up. Tend to find this is best as it doesn't startle me out of bed.

Also keeping the curtains open helps as any natural light will reset your bodyclock, although not so good at this time of the year. Been really having problems getting up recently, but that's partly Prozac too.

Wouldn't it be great if the world didn't work to stupid times. :)
