I know this might sound daft but how does he smoke his weed. If it is spliffs then I cant really understand the blotchiness. If he is doing bongs or shotties (which is where they suck the smoke through a bottle) then that might be why it has hit him so quickly. My ex used to do shotties all the time and he was always blotchy afterwards and red eyed.

You need to look more at the pupils of his eyes as with heroin the pupils will shrink to literaly the size of the end of a sewing needle and the eyes become really pail too. Heroin can also give the look to someone who is not aware of the effects that that person is drunk. Not all Herion users inject so you might need to check his room for bits of foil or check you bin and how fast the foil maybe dissapearing (if heroin is the cause).

I really do hope that you find the conclusion to this. I also pray for you that it is not the latter that is the cause as Heroin is a very hard thing for a family to have to live with.

get him drug tested and find out

is he hyper talking lots? could be speed or coke? but it could be anything? try google lots of websites about drug use and tell tale signs? or search his room if he wont talk to you about it?

maybe you shouldnt let him smoke hash and be such a walk over

probably just had a w ank..Why do you allow him to smoke weed in your home..kick the fuckers @rse out of the door

Talk to Frank 0800 77 66 00

Heroin....for a guess

Sounds to me he is sniffing something as well but it could be his age why he has bad skin so think be for you start accusing him.good luck

i think he might be doin coke...my friend that same problem for a while. Except his eyes were blood shot and whenever his mom asked him something,he would snap at her and tell her to f off....its the truth

stop givin him the pills too

have any of your spoons gone missing? any cotton wool or cigarette filters with brown stuff on them means he is on Heroin

ask him staight up, if your not happy with the answer you get then your his mother, check his room for stuff but dont let it go, kids these daze dont really know whats good for rhem and what can cause them true harm down the road....be a PARENT!!!!

that is horrible

call the doctor and see he can help you

or call a help hotline

if you love you son you have to get him helop

Best to search his room, that would give better clues. He could be inhaling butane, a plastic bag is sometimes used to trap the gas so it can be inhaled. It could be amyl nitrate, usually inhaled from a small bottle or of a cloth clamped to the face.

If he smokes then cannabis/weed has a distinctive smell, different from tobacco. If you find any kind of small container with foil over the top - punctured by many small holes - and some kind of tube (often half a biro) coming out of the side then its crack.

Give him as much information as you can on the effects of drug use. But ultimately only he can stop. If it becomes a real problem then it's time for him to leave home.

Blues, AKA Valium, 50p per tab mixed with alcohol produce a drunk violent personality pretty quickly.

Could be a lot of other combinations though; anti depressants and alcohol the most likely at 17.

Speak to your own GP for professional advice or you will be giving "yourself" an early grave through worry.

Is there any detectable odour? He could be sniffing glue or accelerants, which can have fatal consequences. I used to use recreational drugs but I don't recall anything that made skin blotchy/mimicked intoxication. I've known people do some stupid things like injecting alcohol straight into a vein. I'd encourage him to stop smoking hash if I were you, it potentially brings him into contact with people selling harder drugs and it's bad for his health.

i think blotchiness may be a reaction to the hash, he has maybe received a bad cut (mix of hash, coffee, lsd and other stuff) this could be making him touchy and possibly paranoid, if when you see him like this you get a chance to check his room, if it smells unlike his usual hash, try to describe it to us as different smoking drugs give off different odours, if there is no odour, look for something he may keep his stash in, i know its an invasion of privacy and we all need help chilling out but ive already seen someone be led down the wrong path because the hash was no longer working for them, he is at the experimenting age, you are right to worry and presume he maybe taking something a little stronger.

this is going to be very hard to say - but you need to be a parent - you son should neVer be allowed to smoke anything in the house or out of the house- if suspected of it go to the doctor with him- if you have to be sneaky be sneaky take him to the doctor for one reason and let the doc know whats happening and get him checked for drugs- GET HIM HELP BEFORE HE DIES- IT WILL HURT BUT IF YOU LOVE HIM GET HIM INTO A REHAB KNOW BEFORE ANOTHER MORE SERIOUS HAPPENS GOOD LUCK

what did you do when he was younger-say 12? If you find it an ill go to the root if you want a solution.and remember things do not happen at yourself or your social just from nowhere ( say magic, evil curse etc)

sorry dont know

He's a raging scag head, throw him out before he sells your tv.

haha ur sons a freak
