Behavior of someone stuck up?!

Question: Would a stuck up person blush or seem kind of flustered when attention is drawn to them?

Answers: Would a stuck up person blush or seem kind of flustered when attention is drawn to them?

Ah, no I don't think so. Stuck up people like attention so whenever they get attention, then they are having a moment of glory. So I don't think that they would be flustered unless it was bad attention that they didn't want.

not really that is what they usally want

Sure that would are not forgetting they are stuck up.

no

No, prolly not... stuck up people are usually fairly cocky and self centered... they are used to bringing attention to themselves most likely ;p

i guess it will be kind of flustered when attention is being drawn to them.

yes, it it's unwanted attention.

Some stuck up people are quite shy actually.
They think they are better than anyone else so they don't want to talk to any of the scrubs, slackers, and other inferior people. So when all of the attention gets placed on them, they are embarrassed because they want everyone to leave them alone and stop looking at them.

i know a great deal of folk think they are better than you, i just take no notice and of course they will blush it shows you that they are no better than you.

stuck-up could be self-absorbed, so it wouldn't be too out of character for them to be embarrassed when attention is drawn to them. They probably want the attention like people talking about them and admiring them but don't want to be put on the spot b/c they may say something very embarrassing.

sometimes a 'shy' person is perceived as stuck up and when attention is paid to them - it is hard for them to react 'normally'. Maybe the person has social anxiety and doesn't talk about it, or even realize it.
On the flip side there are always people who pretend to be shy, cause that makes people urge them to be part of a group discussion, etc.
But for the sake of those people who are genuinely shy, give this person the benifit of the doubt. Get to know them first, and then make a decision.
In short, my answer is yes.

Sounds more like a shy person. Many times people confuse the two.

they are not stuck up silly, they're shy! can't you tell the difference?

I think that people that behave in a "stuck up" manner are often very insecure and that is exactly why they ACT so stuck up.

Big Ego and little self-esteem is a bad combination
