Sweetie, u're 13, u have nothing to be stressed over besides school, chores, homework, & dating!! Come on & get it together. I know it can be hard at that age, but it's going to be harder as an adult. I have a friend that's going through alot more than u & she hasn't jumped off a bridge yet or tried anything simple to take herself out because her problems are overwhelming her. Get your folks to take u to see a doctor because u could be dealing with Bi-Polar disorder. And that's no easy illness to deal with.

I know this isn't what you wanna hear but, High school is the worst years of my life. For the last for years, I've hated it. I only have like over a year left to indure.. Ahh Good times.. But you never know, you might still be settling in, It's gonna get better =D ((;

your 13, you're supposed to be miserable.

I know what you mean.... I started crying all the time since i started middle school. I do crazy most of the time but thats okay that a natural emotion of the human body. You have a lot more homework and everything and you go to sleep later so you will be tired. I have a lot of stuff on my mine to and when i go to sleep i talk to myself to make myself feel better lol but it works...... you may also be suffering from depression but i am telling you what i do for the same problem
hope i helped!!!!

I know you don't want to hear this, but he need more information to help. What do you do to try and beat stress now? What sort of stuff bugs you the most, we could start with that and work down to the "just kinda annoying" things.

Don't pay much attention to those who ask "what does a 13 year old have to worry about." They have forgotten how it feels, like you're in the middle of a game, you don't know the rules or what's at stake or even what you're supposed to do to win.

One thing that ALWAYS helps is to keep it all in perspective. Nothing that happens before college REALLY counts for much, so don't let yourself start thinking any of the BS you're dealing with is end-of-the-world, unfixable stuff.

It's confusing, it will stress you out if you let it, but just remind yourself, it doesn't count yet.

Email me some time, I'll pass on some ideas on how to cope.

it doesnt get any better unfortunately!! im 19 and i feel the same way!! im in college and i jusst dont know anymore y i do what i do or say what i say!! @ least were not alone.. @ times i feel as if no one cares about me. .and @ other times they do.. i believe its the world we live in.. and when we see someone elses lives taht r soo perfect, and problem free then we wonder y cant ours b like that or w/e.. or y cant we look like so and so etc.. Good Luck and Keep ur head up.. i know easier sed then done!!

I know you might not find it interesting to hear this, but what you need is to relax, visit a website - www.artofliving.org and find out for yourself, if they have any institute in the country where you reside. There is a course for teen agers called - YES COURSE. Its meant to help teeanagers to come out of stress and live in a happy frame of mind.

r u lonely? is your homelife bad? do you fit in with the other kids? tiredness could be because you're growing or maybe you're just staying up too late. Stress could also be a factor.
Try to deal with things one at a time. Don't worry or try not to. You've got a long way to go yet before real responsibility hits you. I've been through a lot in my life and am treated for depression, so before it goes too far, talk to someone who you trust and think can help. a Doctor or guidance counsellor at the school. If I could change things for myself, that's what I would do.

it may be depression, but i wouldn't jump to comclusions. it also may be hormones. i know wat it feels like, and wat i do is snuggle up to my dog (or a pet. if u dont have one, oops on my part), sleep, and talk to friends. my friends almost always cheer me up. so talk to ur friends, and go places with them, they should make u feel better. if it doesn't, tell ur guardian, they can help alot (unless they think its just ur teen years, but make SURE they understand)

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

I'm 14, and yeah life is cruel and secondary school is a miserable place. I know exactly how you feel and at times it feels really depressing, but don't worry, if you think about it, if you're in the UK, you only spend 30 hours at school, 30 hours over 5 days isn't bad when you think that in a week there is 168 hours.

When your outside of school just hang out with your friends, when the weather is bad (which it usually is), just relax at home doing something you enjoy doing or talk with your friends with Instant Messaging Programmes like Windows Live Messenger.

If you're bogged down with homework like me, then take a break every half hour, and to help get on top of things then organise your homework into order of due date and/or order of importance.

Finally, cherish every weekend and enjoy it as much as possible, and treat it like a well deserved holiday, so that when you go back to school on Monday you will be happier.

Hope this helped,

-A fellow teenager : )
