depends you need a speech therapist it will probably be covered by your insurance.
I think the only person that can answer that would be a speech therapist.
You know Syllvin has a great program for this. If you can't afford someone try to get witha school counsler and see if they mgiht be able to help you find someone at low cost. A lot times your school might have programs where they can put you in free of charge. I would check out your school first.
You should look into seeing a speech pathologist at your school. Most schools have a program for that which shouldn't cost you anything. If not therapy, without insurance is very expensive. Maybe you can buy some books on it and try to conquer it on your own as well
Try singing out loud to yourself. I bet you wouldn't stutter when you sing. A good therapist could surely help you.
I would try my best to purchase or check out a book on tape and at the same time the book and try to follow the reader on tape to match the coherent pattern of pronouncing the words and sentence structure. You'll clearly break the fear and develop strong pronunctiation skills.
Here is a video of Mel Tillis a famous country western singer 1980sHe was inducted in both the Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame.He over came Stuttering by singing it helped him a lot,in 1st video commercial you can see how he still stutters but hear him sing there is none.Please practice singing when your alone in your room see if it helps with your timing,I would love to hear you sing! Stuttering just makes you unique,some of us have other obstacles to overcome . Those who laugh at you will some day be envious of your many talents what ever you prosper in.Don't be put off achieving your destiny, even if you have experienced failure in your life. most state school systems have rules saying that your school must provide speech therapy for free!!!
do you have an organization in your area called Easter Seals Clinic this is a free clinic that can help you with this problem / how about any childrens hospitals or county hospitals check with them all
