Does information get passed onto school?!
Question: If you are diagnosed with depression, GAD or mental disorders? does the informationa get passed onto your school and they will maybe organize counselling (sorry spelling) for you and etc.. cause i think i might have either depression or GAD and i'm planning to see my doctor sometime soon. and i am scared that the information will be passed onto school and i don't want to talk to counsellors. :(

The doctor cant just call the school and tell them you have mental issues. Unless your issues are impacting your behavior at school, the school may never know about such issues. If your parents decide to tell the school then you may have to deal with it but the school wont find out unless you or your parents tell them.

First you are wrong in the fact you do not want to talk to counselors. They are there to help you not to ridicule you. Also, nothing in your medical records can be passed to anyone without your permission. It is called doctor-patient privilege. Mental illness is not a horrible problem. With treatment and therapy you can function normally in the world. If you hide it from doctors and therapists you are only doing yourself harm. Do not plan on seeing your doctor sometime soon, do it now. The faster you do it the better you will feel. Good luck.
