Does anyone else have this weird phobia?!
Question: This is weird, but I have this huge phobia of seeing whipping in movies or seeing it anywhere else. I refuse to watch any movies with it..does anyone else have that phobia? All of my friends think it's a stupid fear and they just tell me to get over it lol

Actually, not only do I have that same phobia, so does my son. He refuses to watch anything on TV or a video that has that. It unsettles him and it does the same (always has) for me. I know, for me, it comes from the overly strict actions of my father to me, as he would whip me with a belt when I did wrong. My son doesn't get that from me, as I've sworn I will never do that, but he has it all the same.
Not personally, but then I wouldn't exactly want to watch a movie with that kindof thing. Probably you're just a kind hearted person who doesn't like to see any kind of punishment served out on other people.

Maybe your scared of it because you don't like watching people being punished/tortured. But I think your mostly scared that it'll happen to you. Well, that's what i think fears all come down to, it happening to them.
It's not a stupid fear. Some people have them of rubber ducks!
im not sure its a phobia! it could just be a fear! just like some people are scared of clowns! if your really that worried, research it on the internet, of if its getting you down that much ask your gp! but dont worry about your friends! im sure they've all got fears of there own. yours just isnt a very common one!

My phobia is people in customes where I can't see there face. The sad thing is that i'm 22yrs old and if I see them I run, if they come to me i start to cry. (mascots) Like I could never go to diseny land. I was a cheerleader, if the mascot was there I could not go over there, at frist everyone made fun of me, until there know I was not joking.
