Question: i know his parents and brother are grieving but doing drugs in the first place is screwing up your life in the first place

Answers: i know his parents and brother are grieving but doing drugs in the first place is screwing up your life in the first place

Until you are able to walk in the shoes of a person, you can never know what demons drive them to drugs. Taking this approach is rather unsympathetic and self-righteous, don't you think? Illegal drugs are not the brightest move a person can make, but who are you to pass judgement? Are you so sure the person was a total loss to humanity, and so sure you are worth more? Had the man survived his poor life choices, who knows what else he had inside to give and share? We all made bad calls in our youth, some of us just had the good fortune to survive them. Some of us just weren't that lucky. His parents and brother knew him better than you, knew what gifts he had to give, and probably know better than any what the world will miss from his loss. Feel sorry for his family's pain, and a certain amount of sorrow for the loss to humanity. And do consider feeling some grief for your lack of empathy in the loss of a human life before it's time. You don't have to be prostrated with grief, but a little human understanding would be in order, yes.

maybe, but u shudnt be to close wif him, he may influence u for all u know

sure its normal to feel sorry

Sure, you can feel sorry for him and for the bad choice that he made. It's very sad that his life went that way.

Nobody can tell you to feel sorry however...to see someone pass on no matter the circumstances is horrible.

yeah, it's human emotions bro, like i fell sorry for britney spears and her messed up family, ur only human.

You have to put that issue aside... the dude died which is horrible, irregardless of how he died, he is dead.... and his family is in terrible mourning for him... and probably angry at the same time. So my answer is yes... you should feel some kind of compassion for this lost soul.....it is tragic when people die in this manner.

i'm gunna have to say yes...and no! i've have good friends Od....and i've had ppl i jux met Od....still....you shouldn't feel sorry for them because they Od...you should feel sorry for them because they need the drugs to cope with reality...because that's all drugs are for...it's a way for someone to escape tha world they cannot handle....so...feel sorry...!!! hope i helped sweetie!

no feel sympathy for the family but live by the sword die by the sword springs to mind

If you barely knew the guy what makes you think you should make any kind of judgment?

You feeling sorry for the guy or not really doesn't change much, does it? While it's unfortunate that this fellow had to learn the hard way, he should have been old enough to know that if you play with matches , you get burnt.

Feel sorry - Yes,maybe, BUT distance yourself and do not get dragged down this road. Been there, got the T- shirt.

ya u should

Sound like u are balanced and know what u are doing, I hope so. Do'nt feel sorry for the guy, he did it to himself. His family I would be concerned for, but they must have known and maybe averted the situation.

Of course, it's sad that that type of thing happens to anyone - it's an illness, not a choice.

you "can" feel sorry for him. judging from your question you don't feel sorry for him and thats you perrogative. no one has the right to tell you what you "should" and "shouldn't" feel its entirely up to you. i think you already know the answer to you question.

Empathise with his parents and brother, but don't feel sorry for the bloke that died.

He certainly never considered you or his parents when he was doing drugs. No one forced him into that lifestyle.

He made his choices!
