Find another place to study away from the computer. Or if you have to use your computer for study/work purposes. Create a separate account for work only (have parents password gaming account if you have to), also give the separate account non-admin privileges so you can't install anything. If you have to, remove all games. Avoid anything even remotely related to mmorpg rpg online first-person-shooter, Diablo II, etc... If you need a quick gaming fix play something on addictinggames.com. Although, you may waste a few hours, the games are so small and simple, eventually you'll get bored and have to walk away from them. No games that include leveling up... Period.

hmmmaybe try and do excersizes or take up a new hobby like cooking or clean your bedroom and draw...you can still play but if its not taking over your life then you have no problem =]

Take a cold shower..see a counsellor..

Thje only way and seriously its the only way, actually their are two ways: ha ha

1. You got to delete the windows. If you wanna check your email, go out.

2. Ask your friend who lives far away to put a password on your computer, and you agree that he cant tell you, he has to come around each time you wanna use the pc.

3. Seems like i got an another one. Buy a really crappy pc, that doesnt allow support games

You have to set limits and you can't do it alone. Start by giving yourself a set amount of time per day that you will game. Two hours a day, etc. Ask your parents to help you keep to these time limits.

Move your Gaming machine (PC or console) to an area in public view - so that others in your household can monitor the amount of time you spend on the game. Give someone else the authority to shut down the machine if you go over.

Finally, only start your gaming time if all your other tasks have been accomplished. Studying, chores, exercising, etc. If you have to write a paper for class, and it's not written, no gaming until it is.

Ask your parents to ground you. ;) That is what I just did to my 17 year old son because he has no interest in anything BUT the computer.

Obviously you are aware of the problem though, so how about unhooking the pc or moving it out of your bedroom if that is where it is?

As with any addiction, simply STOP.
