Emotional attachment vs emotional dependency?!

Question: What could be the difference between the two? I believe total emotional dependency is unhealthy, and a certain amount is healthy in a relationship. Could you give an example of a healthy emotional dependency and an unhealthy one so I am more clear on this?

Are the above mentioned terms the same basically?

Thank you.

Ok here's how I see it. You love your spouse and you have an emotional attachment to them and a certain amount of emotional dependency. Your emotional attachment mean that you love them and that you want to be with them. Your emotional dependency means that it's nice if you could go to them for support and and ideas when you need someone to talk to. Complete emotional dependency is what a child has for it's parents, where if they aren't there to take care of the child it would not develop in a healthy manner. An adult who's to emotionally dependent on someone is unable to function with out that person in their life. You some times see it when one spouse dies and with in months so does the other.

These are not the same. If you are attached to someone, you both add something to the life of the other person.
If you are dependant on them, you don't add anthing to their life, you mostly suck the energy from it.
Two people walking side by side is a picture of attachment.
One person carrying someone on their back is dependant.
Two people can be depentant on each other, and that's unhealthy, too.

both are dependency ,you have to check out what they both do to you go on Internet and see went you put them in what they both mean and the diffidence not much i would say,,,
