Question about 1 to1 therapy?!
Question: just simply, whta is it like, how does it compare to group?

For me, individual therapy is best.
It feels good to know that once a week someone is going to genuinely listen to my concerns. The longer you have a therapist the more understanding there is.
Group therapy is a good option if someone needs to work on relating to other people.
one on one allows you to focus on you. there were parts of my sexual issues i wouldnt have been able to share in group. having just you and the doctor makes it easier to share.
I don't like being around other people so 1 to 1 allowed me to feel more comfortable and not have to worry about what other's thought or didn't think of me. I was able to be more open with my doctors and to address issues that are very difficult because I knew that it wouldn't go any further and that only one other person knew,
Hi--Individual therapy is important because the issues of identity, self-esteem, self-worth and self-image can be addressed through this forum instead of in a group. Also in a group it is a lot less personal, more distractions, and not really all completely "self-helping." It is on your terms and you don't have to deal with anybody taking the attention away from you that you deserve in the psychiatrical one-on-one basis.
