Weird Things When I'm Lying In Bed...?!

Question: If i'm just lying there, stairing at the ceiling, I see white flashes out the corner of my eye. Last night, I was listening to my music, when I should be sleeping, and I hear a thumping noise, I pull the headphones off really fast... nothing... I rewind to see if its something wrong with the song. The song's fine. Then I hear lie a really loud sound like a cat hissing, again, not the song, nor the headphones.
What does this mean?! Am I slowly going insane?!

BTW, I've had no troubles with the dark before this.

We tend to hear things when we are alone like that. It is just something most go through at some point in their life. You are fine, nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't think so.

no you are not going insane.
It's just your imagination of hearing things

I think you'll be fine i find at night that i get a constant ringing in my ears and its hard to sleep but i told my GP about it and he said it has something to do with your eardrums vibrating. he told me to sleep with my radio on quiet to have some background noise. it could be something similar so you should check it out with your GP it could be a very common problem.

You would be wise to see a neurologist at your earliest convenience. What you are describing could well be symptoms of sensory seizures.

your insane man.good luck
