Do you ever get tired of being you??!

Question: Lately I have been under a lot of stress, and wish I could get out of my head for just a day. It sounds crazy ~ but I wish I could be another person for just a few hours. I get so tired of my own thoughts, actions, questions, etc.

Has anyone else ever felt this way? How did you cope with it?

sometimes...so i read a book....dress in the most classy dressy clothes you have and treat yourself to a dinner out of town where noone knows who you are....take a limo if your budget allows...if you can rent a semi-formal then by all means do so...rent a hotel room to get away from home....ask a friend to come along and enjoy the experience with you....if you are out of town where noone knows who you are then its all the better because you can be who you want to be even if for only one evening

I do everyday. I cope with it by, reading a book, exercise is a great way to relive stress. Just remember you'll get through it.

I've thought that a time or two, but then I realize that everyone has problems. If I were someone else, I'd just have their problems on my mind.

I try to always look at the positive in my life...and after I do that I'm pretty thankful just to be myself! =)

There is nobody I would rather be..for even 1 minute.

i felt this once coz i always get into trouble in my house and im the number 1 person in my family who gets scolded by my parents i wish i was some1 who had great parents

Do something that you really enjoy.
Go somewhere special where your attention will be focused on having a good time.
Give yourself a break from yourself by pampering yourself.
Get a new hair cut or buy something you like that you can bring home and use right away. Best Wishes

if by another person you mean a quadruplegic, then I would say no. Alot of people have it worst and you only know that by looking around. As much people with depression, illnesses and diseases I meet, I'm so glad to be me at the end of the day.

I feel that way every day, but I cope with it by being here answering other peoples questions. This site is therapy for me.

If you were a buddhist, you'd know that you are not you, you are just the illusion that your illusional sense of self creates to convince itself that it's real. Understanding that frees you to detach from the illusion, part of which is the thoughts etc.

I think everyone has felt this way at one time or another, all you can really do it just breathe and try to do things that make you happy.

yeah. all the time.
