Why do i fell kinda depressed when im not at school?!

Question: Of course i can have bad days at school and stuff, but on average I usually have fun at school, (or at least like being there!), and when I have to go home I just fell kinda glumish and mildly depresed, I auctually wish I didn't have weekends and went to school all the time, is that odd to you?

You really don't sound like a social butterfly...so my quess is "Networking." Lots of people are exactly like you are including me......that is why work is so special to me even if I have a bad day at work.....Who Iam is through my people and even more so is that my life is lived through music. At my best, Iam dealing with all kinds of people in my day, fortunately not to personal to make my space crowded, but close enough that we are friends as well as co-workers. I like using my social skills and I go between all classes of people and I enjoy different activities, responsibilities.......Going home can be a blessing when work has been stressful or rotten, but on the other hand ,home is very lonely and I have no one to talk to except a 2 year old most days. I get bummed out about it myself......Life is who you know for people like us.

It doesn't surprise me. Kind of reminds me of myself.

For me, while school is stressful, a lot of that stress is put on by my family. Since I'm applying to colleges and such, I'm really stressed always and I'm almost never happy at home. At school, there's always something to take my mind off of what happens at home.

Now, I'm glad we have weekends, but occasionally I'm glad to be back in school.

I can't tell you why you are, only you can. But does anything happen to make you feel this way? Any pressures/strained situations at home? Parental problems (between you and them or just them), feeling left out? On your way home from school one day, observe your transition period. What are your thoughts RIGHT before you feel yourself slip into a "mood"?

I hope this helps! :0)

not odd at all, you like being around your friends and around a place that seems alive and always have something going on, i would reccomend finding an after school activity or even just hanging out with some friends. being around friends always helped me.

Hope this helps, wish the best for you

it's not odd to me. that's the way I felt ALL throughout the Christmas Holidays... ugh I missed all my friends, I only have a few of their emails'
just get your friends' email adresses, and keep in touch with them during the weekends, or go to the mall or something with them all!

you miss the social interaction

it is not odd to me. In school there is a schedule to follow and there is routine. There is predictability as well and you are able to function better.
You might need to fill up your down time with activities and keep busier so your not bored or depressed anymore.
