Feel like life is over ?!
Question: I feel like life is over. I was on the news for masterbating at work. This happend 2 years ago but boy do people still remember. Iv'e lost all of my friends. My family treats me different and just the thought that everyone knows you is kinda unbearable. I messed up and got myself in this mess. people treat me so different. They treat my like they are better than me. The people in my neighborhood even tried to kill me a few weeks ago. Your probably wondering why they would want to kill me because of that. The reason is because everyone tried to deny the fact that I was on the news before but they recently told me straight up that I was and they couldn't believe I would do something like that. They thought that since I knew I was on the news for that, that i would either kill myself or kill others. Which is not the case. So they tried and I turned around and caught this guy pointing a gun at me he then put the gun away and walked away . They think I don't deserve to live but I do.

I haven't heard of you first of all. Second of all, I don't know who you are or where you live but if you are getting death threats and homocidal people coming after you you should: 1. contact the police and 2. GET THE **** OUT OF THAT TOWN! Get past the past and don't worry. You don't deserve to die, you probably had your reasons for spanking the monkey at work, sometimes you just can't wait untill you get home (but it is usually a good idea to wait). Don't kill yourself, save that for the people in the hospitals that have already tried.
When people confront you about this mistake I think you should either make humor about it but make sure that you get the serious point across. Or just forget the humor and get the point.
HOnestly you would sound like a mental patient on the news, and I would treat you like I was better but obviously if you are feeling remorse and guilt for the act then you are in good shape. You have really openned my eyes. I would have thought you were a sick jerk off (lol) bt that is obvoiusly not the case, there is always 2 stories to a situation.

Everyone in the world has done things that would be a problem if it showed up on the evening news. I think the best way to handle your problem is to move to a different area if possible. See if you can arrange a job transfer or a get a completely new job. It will be a completely fresh start.
