I can't get a job because of my social anxiety?!
Question: I plan on taking online courses to become a medical transciptionist but I need a job while I do it so I can pay for it.
I had to drop out of high school and get my GED because my social anxiety got so bad. That already is a setback when trying to get a job and now I have to find a job that I can handle until I can work at home.
Any suggestions of jobs that I could possibly handle even though I've never had much work experience and only a GED?
Anything not constantly dealing with people directly is what i'm aiming for.

Try to find out what the cause is for your social anxiety, unless it's biological, there's usually something in your life that caused it. If you know what it is, then you can think back and counteract it. You can also always seek professional help too.
Are you on any meds or have you seen a therapist about this? These things can help. I personally can't think of any paying jobs where you don't have to deal directly with people. I was thinking you could do something like work at the animal shelter, but that may be a volunteer job, I don't know. Check it out. I think something like that would be good for your condition.
