Do different things that w/make you happy. Go different places that w/fill your time w/things you both are interested in. Get out & do things, just don't sit around depending on one to pull the other one "up" so to speak. Get out & about & start watching others enjoy life. Go see a good "up" movie, go places where you know you'll have fun. IF your depression medication is NOT working, maybe it might be a good idea to take it up w/your family Dr. There are so many depression meds. out there & available to you, one might not work, but another one will. If this one doesn't appear to be doing what it should, you definately can try something else, & there's no doubt in my mind you'll find one that w/work fine for your situation. Just don't do nothing about it, there are too many others to choose from. Why waste your time & money on something that's not helping you when you can find one that will. Seriously, if this has not worked for you w/in a couple mons., you NEED to try something else. I've been on them, I know first hand one might work when another just might not. Do something about it ASAP....:)

I cannot help you like this telling you what to have him do. He needs to be really sweet to you, I cannot imagine that not working, when a guy compliments his girl, and shows her how much she means to him it usually makes her pretty happy, so I would think that would help you, but if you know its coming or if it has a secondary reason other than just because it is true, then it doesn't mean as much, and won't do anything to help you. You need to spend time doing what you love to do with him. Sometimes, if you are depressed, there may be nothing he can do to help you, and expecting him to might be asking too much. I hope you can get this worked out, I know I wasn't much help. Good luck to you.

One thing he can do is help to make you laugh. You two can watch funny television shows together, and listen to comedy recordings and read funny comic books.

Laughter really is the best medicine. Here is a great article about it on Yahoo:

Hope that helps some. Keep smiling.
