No, by your own admission you're probably just cranky.

No, but it kind of sounds like you have social anxiety. But it might not be. Some people just don't like crowds and that's perfectly OK.

ah I used to have the same problem. Try singling out someone that you would like to be freinds with. When you have the opportunity, talk to them, no matter how scared you are. I was always ppl would not like me and they would be mean, but when i finally started talking to them, i relized they were just like me.

No, you would probably be considered asocial. An antisocial personality type is a sociopath a.k.a. psychopath, i.e. persons without consciences or empathy for others.

With a name like cranky lady, it gives off the impression that you are. To answer your question, you are a little antisocial. Being social is about going out there, not just being able to communicate with those that you live with. If you've been able to get close to people before and suddenly stopped, maybe a situation happened that really hurt you, so you fear the intimacy. If not, maybe its something that you were born with. You might be more the introvert type, which is not necessarily something bad. But if youd like to become more social, start off by telling yourself that you'll start conversation with at least two people that you sort of know every day for a week. Then just set up goals for yourself to socialize, and you will get the hang of it. Good luck!

you may be schizoid

You're not antisocial, you sound like you are very shy or maybe suffer with anxiety. Although people use the term antisocial to describe people who don't socialize much that isn't actually what it means at all. You certainly have not described any symptoms associated with antisocial behaviour.
