How do I get myself together?!

Question: I'm not sure what problems you are having, but I will see if I can help.
If you are having financial problems, you can do plenty of different things. Where ever you are working, see if you could be doing a different job in that industry and get a better pay. For example, so many people sweat in restaurants cooking, and doing dishes. Why not be a bartender or a waiter?? You work the same amount of hours and you get WAY BETTER PAY!! Look at your job and see who is less stress and more happy, then do what they do. Take up two jobs, even three just for a short amount of time to get yourself back on your feet. Working all the time will wear you out a bit, but just eat well, stay away from caffiene drinks, take vitamins, and be positive. Working more than one job will keep you buys, less stressed (thinking about debt) and will keep you from spending your money cause you will have no time to go out.
If you are having depression problems, what you will have to do is inspire yourself. Wake up early in the morning and watch the sunrise. Think about how well you have it, it could be a lot worse, and there is a lot of people out there who have it worse then you. Draw or write poems, listen to music, or anything that will keep you relaxed. Help people every now and then. Compliment someone, open a door, ect. and watch their smile. You will feel good about yourself and even though it didn't make a huge difference in that person's life, you'll feel better about yourself.
Another thing is you have to start working out. When you look great, you feel great, and you will be able to attack anything that comes to you. Read an inspiring book. Something about being positive. Find out who you are, what you enjoy doing, and go do it. If it's reading, go read in a coffee shop, not at home. Get out around people, even if you're not talking to them and reading, but you may run into something that will "spark" up your day whether it's a conversation with someone or just something you saw happen. You'll meet people this way too.
Find something you always wanted to do, and do it. Even if it's as simple as a day fishing, horseback trail ride, or canoeing. If you keep your day busy, when you hit that bed at night, you will fall asleep with a smile on your face.
When you're in your car, listen to up-beat music only! Stay away from depressed music or anger music.
It's all little steps, but when you get through the first couple weeks, you'll feel a lot better and won't want to turn back.
Also make sure that you eat better. Try a challenge. Try not eating fast food or pizza for a month. Make something at home and sit down with a paper. Do something and stop doing nothing! Meet a friend for a simple coffee. It's all little steps.
You can do it, just don't give up.
Good Luck.

i would start drinking. when your drunk you find out who you were truly meant to be because your inhibitions are gone. it's like reverting to a primal nature in which there is no common sense.

What problem or problems do you have that make it difficult for you to get yourself together? Have there been times when you've been able to get an upper hand on these problems, or when they've been less of a problem for you?

You might also consider checking books out of the local library on your particular problem or problems, or going to a local bookstore.

If you can afford it, or if your insurance or your employer covers it, counseling can often be helpful.

Good luck,
