huh thats interesting. i never used to drink coffee or anything with caffeine in it and i felt fine most of the time. but now i drink it every morning for about the last 3 months and i have felt extra stressed at work and in my home life athough nothing has actually happened to warent this change in mood. if you end up finding any real research to back this up let me know i think it would be worth exploring if it hasent been.

I drink coffee with lithium, but I have a lower dose. If you drink coffee every day, you get used to the caffeine, and it doesn't make that much difference dehydration wise. The people who get dehydrated are the people who occasionally have a cup of coffee.

When you want to watch it is when exercising or on hot days, and you want to back off caffeine on those days anyhow.

Ask your pscyhiatrist in detail about it. PS People always assume you can never have a beer with psych meds too, but with most of them, one beer is OK (I have a drink only once or twice a month, so my doc is not worried about abuse).
