If something was making you miserable, why would you still do it?!

Question: Why would you not see the cause clearly?

Answers: Why would you not see the cause clearly?

Sometimes people don't want to see that what they are doing is making them unhappy. They want to think that it is something else, or that somehow things will change and then the thing that is making them so unhappy will no longer make them so.

cute cat!

I wouldn't, but if I made a commitment to finish something then I would feel obligated to see it through and put my misery aside.

i go work every day don't i?!

Are you trying to be specific about anything in particular?
Now....if you have a job you hate but you need the paycheck, I'd stick it out until I got another job -- and therefore, the reason would be "necessity" --

We aren't exactly living here in a rose garden. There will always be things that make you miserable from physical sickness to bad relationship. Some things you can change ,some things are easier not to change and some things will eventually go away by themselves.

Some people enjoy the suffering & all the torment that goes with it !! That's just their lives !!

yeah,i do it all the time,i listen to hey there delilah even thought it makes me realy unhappy and i sit and tell my self im a stupid fat coz, cant help ot so yeah it a habit to make myself miserable, coz i deserve it.

eh it all depends.. i mean my sister in law and mom in law was making me miserable but.... there was nothing i could do about it.... sometimes you cant help what is making you upset and sometimes you can.. so it all depends i guess.

Because althought he journey there is hard you can see the outcome and it's beautiful. I know it sounds cheesy but think about it.
I knew everyday was going ot be hard .. struggling to get where I am today but it was worth it.. I'm happy... and I'd do it again if I had to!

No way I would continue to do it.
I really liked this guy, and he liked me, but he only called me once a week. It bothered me a lot, so I cut him off.
I felt immediate relief, and haven't regretted it.
If something makes you miserable, get rid of it!

I am miserable in law school but I still do it because I am over half done and I have spent a lot of money.
