Question about NCAA drug testing and Lamictal.?!
Question: I currently am taking 400mg of Lamictal every day for Bipolar Disorder. Do you think this will do anything to NCAA eligibility in a drug test....?
I've been worried about that for a while...I'm a high school senior so I'm not quite there yet, but there's only 4 months to graduation.

Lamictal is not on the banned substances list. The drug is used to treat epilepsy and mood disorders, not enhance performance.

Shouldnt it's not illegal and it's not steroids!
No it is obviously prescribed to you. I take Lamictal for seizures, so its not like they would hold it against you. its not like its an illegal drug. they will probably be better off knowing that you treat your condition. they dont look for non-illegal drugs. even if they did, you have doctor's note and perscription.
Do you suffer from insomnia at all from taking it???
