Why do i get so easily distracted?!

Question: I like reading and I want to read many books, but i just can't concetrate. I start to read and my attention is distracted all the time. I can't read more than five pages a day, although I have time, and it takes me months to finish a simple book. Can I do something about it?

ADD

You probably have ADD....oh look Cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!

that happends to me maybe u can just chill
take out ur things so u wont get distracted
or just go out side to get some fresh air and read

Dunno.

Hey! Look over there!

set a goal...6 pages, then seven....and make sure you meet the goal each day.
limit distractions... read when alone, no tv, turn off phone.... etc.

Hi da!
You can come out easily!
First u should have that intention i.e don't think that u can't read.
Repeat the statements when ever u are distracted:
I can
I will
I should
I must

if u want to read - really read, not just skim thru a book - then try to find somewhere that u can easily sit in the stillness and quiet. if u have no outside noise, this helps alot with distraction. try reading a chapter a day, and u'll finish alot quicker than normal.
good luck!

could be lotsa things like simply having too much caffine (like sodas or candy) to something more seriuos like attention defficiet disorder treated by medication. try the simple tgings first like eliminating caffine and sweets (sugar rush) then if you don't see a difference seek aa physicians advice..

yup A.D.D.
