Why do I get upset easily and irritated by small things?!

Question: It totally depends on what is going on in your life. There are so many variables to this question. It could just be that you have something going on that you aren't facing and that inner conflict is effecting the rest of your life.

Because you're human. Everyone has their "pet peeves" that aren't really worth getting upset about but just p!$$ them off. Don't sweat it -- just try to recognize it when it happens and keep reminding yourself it's not worth blowing up over it.

because you are stressed out. I was that way everything used to pi$$ me off. You need to see the Dr. anti-depressants do help a whole lot. After a few weeks on one you just notice WOW that didn't irritate me like it used too. See you Dr. soon. Good Luck

I have anxiety and depression and that usually happens to me also. I have it pretty much under control now with self help and medication's. But I still get caught up in to it sometimes. Blessings

Lack of sleep makes people irritated by small things.

I know this and it's aggravating especially dealing with road rage some medication will help, see which one works for you.

i find myself getting irritated at my 12 year old for coughing to often.things like that are simply not worth it but i still have to process the thought.i have anxiety and depression, been on valium for over 20 years.i have not taken any pills for over a year.at first i felt as if i`d gone into shock but as months went by i have been able to function a lot better.i use christian prayer.what i`m really upset about is the fact that i have been blindfolded the whole time i was medicated.so cheer up and know that small things are not worth sweating.

its normal and called being a human. That is how your brain developed. Exercise and eat healthy, dont be an idiot and fill your head with drugs. Drugs will forever alter your brain chemistry and your body will become weaker since it will depend on them. Dont become another American pill popper and everyday has to take drugs just to live. Be smart.

Getting upset easily and being irritated over small things is usually a sign of anxiety/ that something is bothering you. IT could also be mind depression. If exercise and eating healthy doesnt work, besides sitting down and relaxing you could try using herbal supplements. For example fish oil Omega-3 and St Johns Wort are known to be helpful against depression/anxiety. These are natural supplements with no lasting impact on the brain. Also, try therapy if you need it. if you have a lot of issues in your life that you have difficulty cooping with, try talking to either a friend or a professional. This will help ease your tension and clear your mind.

Remember, everybody has times when they are stressed and get upset easily. This is a normal part of being human. Everybody deals with it.Try those suggestions. Just be smart about what you do.

Sounds like me. I have depression and anxiety and take Wellbutrin and Lexapro. I am better, but sometimes when i am stressed over something, little things seem like major things.
