Will sleep deprivation (staying up for a night or two) increase my brain's d!

Question: Funny u asked that question. I was wondering the very same thing. My son stayed up for days without sleep which caused him to go into a rather severe manic episode and yes the dopamine levels rose to very high levels. But heres the twist. The doctors werent able to tell me with any degree of certainty if the bipolar manic episode was the cause or whether it was a symptom. They have told me that only time will tell. So im sweatin it out. Good luck. I hope this info helped some.

get some sleep.

at the beginning, your dopamine will cause you to become groggy and stuff, but after a few weeks, you will grow "immune" to it. i stay up late almost every night, and this has happened to me.

nevertheless, try to sleep. warm milk, a good book, warm shower or bath, pills....

hope that helps!
