Cutting always leads to scars?!

Question: true or not?
(self-inflicted cuts)

Answers: true or not?
(self-inflicted cuts)

Depends on how deep and where you decide to hack at yourself. If you choose the main vein following from the wrist to the inner elbow, and cut directly down it, it will not scar (at least the scar disappears fairly soon... at least for me.) Most lighter cuts heal quickly and without scars... if it gets deep enough to be able to separate the skin or bleeds a ton, it'll leave an ugly, pearly scar, although it diminishes over time. If you were to severely slit your wrists, let's say, you'll be left with some embarrassing scars. Make sure you do it right or don't do it at all, if you catch my drift.

To lesson scarring, buy some vitamin E capsules from the grocery store. Cut them in half and use the inner gel stuff and massage it over the site. Do this as often as possible. I used this with all of my major surgical scars and my stupid scars from the past.

Good luck to ya. My advice: don't do it unless your intent is to bleed to death. I don't have a problem with bleeding to death, but pussyfooting around the matter is what is pathetic.

How about you don't cut because... guess what..... you think it's "taking away the pain," but really ur killing urself even more.

Like as not, yes. Scars from cutting tend to be much worse, even after the cut itself has healed, than accidental injuries. Of course, depending on the type of SI it is, and how it is treated after creation, can effect how obvious it is. Mind, even if the scars aren't permanent, the emotional damage is. Generally, someone who is or was a cutter will stand out in some way, if only by attitude, even years after kicking the habit.

mine did all 75 of them and i dont sugest u start its like an addiction

I can't understand why you would ask this? Cuts are cuts. Self inflicted or not the skin still reacts to healing in the same way and depending on the cut some will scar and some will heal.

Why would a self inflicted cut be any different to cuts of other means???

Did I miss the point of your question???

Sometimes as you grow older the scars fade as your body grows and skin expands and they fade away, but that is not for all cases, but for most. But don't cut anyway, nasty habit.

Yes, tho for me, personally it shows my battles & my tough times & to know that I am still around & I still got through it. Leaves scars on the outside, as well as inside. Depends on how bad you cut, if its minor...may not show much. If your a self injure, check this video out.
