Do you always lose weight with an eating disorder?!

Question: Depends. If you are anorexic per example and you maintain that diet, then yes. But if you don't eat for a long time, even just skipping a meal or two and then you eat, then you will either maintain weight or gain it because your metabolism is slower that way and your body goes into starvation mode and keeps more fat and stuff from the food than it normally would.

Some eating disorders can be when a person gains weight because they can't stop eating too much.

Generally yeah, although that's assuming you mean annorexia or bulemia type of disorder. It could be argued that overeating is also an eating disorder and thus would gain weight.

No. Some bulimics (maybe most, I don't know) don't lose any weight. They just maintain it.

?

usually

No. Even with bulimia - you will gain, and losing and gaining and losing will also make it harder to take off the weight and keep it at a healthy weight.

no because over-eating is an eating disorder too...!

no dear you don't!! there also an eating disorder called overeating & also one called beng eating!! No weight loss w/either of these eating disorders!

No, some eating disorders, like binging, you will actually gain weight. Many binge/purgers don't become skinny they maintain a normal weight even with the disorder.
