I am reduced to tears with every drive-thru experience. Is this normal?!

Question: It is a very touching experience.....I too weep quietly into my Diet Pepsi.

I guess it depends on what you're upset about.

Nope.

Like Joe Pesci said in the Lethal Weapon movie, do not go thru the drive-thru, because they **** you at the drive-thru, they know you will be miles away when you find out they ****** you, so heed his words, I know whenver I get something from the drive-thru, I always park and check the order before driving away, wish I had a dollar for every time they screwed it up!

Is the food really THAT awful? Just kidding. :)

No, it's not normal. You probably have social anxiety issues. You should talk to your doctor.

Lots of men don't like to talk on the phone. I know a few guys who HATE ordering pizza on the phone.. It's not uncommon. Talking into the drive thru mic might make you nervous. If that's the case, would it be better to just go inside and order food at the counter?

Jake above me is so right! The one near me is notorious for forgetting either napkins or your fries. Arrrgh!! I hate that!! My boyfriend is too shy to drive back and complain.

you must be the suffering employee
or
you are the disgruntled consumer

me..not quite to tears....but theres been a couple of times Ive gone away "POed".with a Incomplete or wrong order..and thats happend several times at a #1 restaurant I guess ya just take your chances...Itll take forever to get back to them to get it resolved. So ya just go with it
