Look at it as a road block, a challenge you have to overcome. Every time you feel one coming on tell yourself, I can do this, I can beat it this time. If it works then you get the satisfaction of conquering it, if it doesn't then at least you occupy your mind with something else for a while.

I just saw this program on stress and they said simple exercises and foods are quick to help you. Tea is a stress reducer also rubbing the outside of your ears softly. Also getting into a yoga type position to relax your spine. I,m sorry . I wish I could remember more of them. Try google: search" stress reducers". Or how to releave stress. Maybe?

Hello. I have bad panic attacks worst luck and they are one of the hardest things to cope with. You have to deal with what is making you feel nervous. You have to face the problems face on worst luck and i can give advice easy as i am a social worker but i am not good at taking my own advice. If you can take deep breaths when you can feel a panic attack coming on as that helps. Try and do things that make you feel nervous as that is the only way to overcome you panic attacks but remember just a bit at a time. Hope this helps and if you need anymore advice please email me. Take care.

Square breathing:
a.
inhale for the count of 4 or 5 seconds.
b.
hold breath for 4 or 5 seconds
c
exhale for the count of 4 or 5 sec
d
hold for the count of 4 or 5
e
repeat until your breathing rate slows down, thoughts are quieted, heart slows--breathing this way in times of stress will fool your brain and body into believing that all is calm...
Tips--
You will want to slow your breathing down even more as you become proficient in this. IE: hold for 8, breath for 8 etc

I now try to double my exhale seconds--it gives you additional benefits.

If appropriate, I try to follow it up with the yoga stretch called child's pose. By then, I'm very relaxed

I have panic attacks also. When I feel one coming on, I move!Sounds stupid but move your body.Don't plant yourself in one place and think about the panic you feel.Go for a walk, heat up some milk on the stove, grab a book.Anything but move.Take some SLOW deep breaths.remind yourself that you aren't dying when you have one.I have suffered with them for 40 years and at one time was addicted to a med.I take nothing now and I manage with the things I said about what to do.If you sit and think about the panic, you'll go into a full blown attack.Breath, move your body and heat something on the stove.Stay away from caffine also.Smoking can bring on an attack.GOOD LUCK!

To be born again, as Jesus said we must in order to go to heaven, repent of your sins and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. God bless!
