Any tips for stress?!

I'm an RA and we got all kinds of advice on how to deal with stress during training.

My number one tip for you is to get back into something you enjoyed doing as a child. As silly as that sounds. Color or play with play doh. Those were the days of no stress and you'll be happy to go back to them.

Another tip is to treat yourself to something. Like a hair cut, pedicure or massage. It helps to focus on just yourself when other people are doing all the work.

Journal. Write in one. You say you have all this stuff bothering you... if it's all stuck in your head maybe you should find a way to get it out.

If your school has a health center you can see if they have counseling available free of cost. You might not want to go through "therapy" but the reason the counselors are there is to give you someone to talk to free of cost and it's completely confidential.

If you live on campus, talk to your RA. Even if they aren't your friend, that is what they were hired to do. Not to be your friend but to help you with anything you need. Whether it's roommate problems or needing someone to talk to.

But seriously.... color, blow bubbles, build something with legos.... something fun. Message me if you need someone to get your mind of things.


OOOO... I forgot... bubble wrap. I just found some in the basement. It is amazing. Think of each bubble as something that is stressing you out in life. And then *POP* it. :D

dont take guys so serious dont argue w family just be like ok even if you dont care what they say and study hard chill give time to yourself

The best way to handle hectic life with stress coming from all directions is.. to have some time for yourself..mayb go for a walk alone in a park or at the beach... thinking about all your frustation... or maybe... find a trusted pal... and talk to someone.. who is able to convince, understand and give advice which can make u feel better....another way is to take up... class which you are interested in.. like yoga class.. can realli make u feel relaxed

Exercise, a hot bath, doing whatever it is that makes you feel at peace. Make sure to take a little bit of time for YOU each day! You might be surprised how much it helps.

Yoga,
listenen to good music that you can sing to, if you're singing you're distracted
take a hot bath
sleep
go to the gym and work out all your aggression

It's simple don't worry be happy
