I highly recommend going to a doctor. This sounds like it is interrupting your daily life. Through medication, therapy or a combination, your symptoms could be drastically reduced or even gotten rid of.
I had OCD at your age, too. My therapist and Zoloft helped stop my compulsions and now I live a completely functional life.

yes definitely go to your doctor! it will really help you!

You need to talk to a psychiatrist about this to get it under control.

Do you really need to ask if you need to see the doctor? Of course you do. This is making you miserable and relief is a prescription away.

You are definitely suffering from a lot of anxiety and your compulsions are evidence of that. If the patterns of behaviour you are experiencing are getting in the way of your daily life then you should see someone asap. You should not have to feel this way and your doctor will be able to help with your anxiety.

I'm 34 and have had ocd since I was ten. Talk to your doctor and see if he/she can recommend a psychologist who deals in adolescents. OCD is a lot more common than you think. Mine is so bad that I am on a very high dose of Thorazine and clomipramine to combat its effects. I have the unpleasant thoughts and I have a fear of doing things the "right" way or else bad things will happen and a numbers fixation that would boggle most people's minds. I know what it's like, but it can be treated with drugs and also therapy. The drugs are only a crutch, there to help you, but you also have to get at the root of where all this anxiety is going from. Please see a doctor or counselor to help get you on the right track to living a normal life (whatever that maybe ;) )

i think you need to see a therapist. i have ocd and i know its no fun. you can take some medicine, like Luvox, or get some behavioral therapy. it can go away! i think ocd also gets worse when you have a lot of stress in your life, so try to be relaxed.
