How can you still "send" positive energy even when you are angry at ot!


Question: How can you still send out happiness vibes when you are angry at someone.Maybe not angry, but disappointed and annoyed? Like, for example, my friend and I are not as close anymore, and each time we hang out, I end up leaving feelin negative, not angry but not happy. Im sick of talking about it with her because nothing gets resolved.
And what about when you are stuck in traffic or someone cuts you off on the road?
Or when a stranger is just rude to you?
How can you not start to feel negative? How can I still be positive?
I hope you know what I mean, Im having trouble putting it in words.

There is a definate difference in thoughts on this topic...much of your happiness is what you choose to NOT have taken away from you...disappointment is going to happen, and people and things are going to attempt to rob us of our joy....but the trick is to have that "core" in you be solid, be determined to keep negativity away. Some cannot do that, and those ones are usually the ones that try to swipe it away from ones that can. When I get "stuck in traffic" or cut off on the road...I usually just say to myself...Hope they get where they want to go...and then immediately go into the "glad game"..."Glad it didn't kill me"...kinda thought process..breath a bit and shake it off...can't change it anyways, so just let it go...physically do a couple "cleansing breaths" and think of something you like or always carry something along to do if your stuck for a while. We can't paint the world with our happiness...its a choice...but we can sure be a good example of it take effect in our lives...which is far better than being a good example of what not to be. Hope it helps...positively....Stay positive...it is always the right thing...and stay happy cause it just feels good!!!! :)

do not mistake "happiness" for positive energy. positve energy is a lot deeper than feeling happy, it is a mindset that no matter what happens, you'll be alright. that you are in control of your feelings, and are not ruled by your passions.

Yea, I totally got what you mean. I know this is obnoxious sounding, but if you "fake it", then usually people respond to your happy vibes and you get them fooled. Also it cheers you up usually when people around you are happier. Good Luck!

I think I know what you mean. Sometimes people make me feel crappy because of something they said or maybe they made fun of me unintentionally and it's hard to forget about it or try to still be happy. I suppose you have to remember the consequences of being angry or feeling negative from those situations. You feel like you've had a bad day, other people will feel your negativeness and possibly react negatively, and you just have all this anger in your head when you could be focusing on something more important. So when you're with your friend and stuff, you have to understand that you can't MAKE yourself feel happy about the situation. You can't help feeling anger, but the key is not to dwell on your anger. All you have to do is look at the bright side of things and be as nice to her as possible and at least you'll feel happy that you've tried. :)

I gotta believe the vibes will be tainted...
