LEXAPRO, When will it kick in and why do I want NOTHING to do with sex?!

Lexapro kicked in on me about two weeks into taking it. But it's gradual and remember, too, that it isn't a cure all.
As far as sex goes, I take an over-the-counter medication called Steel Libido for Women. You can buy it at a health food store or order it on-line. It's about $17 - $25 for a bottle of 75 and I take three day. It is great stuff and really increases not only your sex drive but also the intensity of your orgasms.

about 6 weeks,,, you will start to feel more energetic,,, and sex doea get better,,, but not the same as it was BEFORE it.

well I changed off lexapro to louvox because lexapro stole my sex drive... but being depressed has its affect on your libido too .. change meds is my advise...
switch to prozac is cheaper more effective and side effects both sexual and stomach are far more managale in my experience
It takes about 6 to 8 weeks to tell if it is working for you. As far as the sex goes all antidepressants seem to have some lose of sex drive.
