Wellbutrin XL and BAD Headaches?!
Question: I was taking Wellbutrin XL 150 mg 2x per day and had headaches with bad tension in my neck and eyes... I figured it would go away, but as I moved up to 300 mg 1X a day it was the same if not worse. Is this common? I eventually went back down to 150 mg and if I missed a day-I felt 100% better that day so I stopped taking altogether. I feel I need SOMETHING to take as I may be slipping back in depression... Advice? Should I try it again-it's been 1 mo. off.

When I first started Wellbutrin at 150 I had blinding headaches for the first few weeks. If it's only been that long, I would advise you to stick with it because it did go away for me and the results were worth it.
When I upped to 300 I had the same thing, though I didn't stay there, my hands shook and I was a b!tch all the time.
If it was only a few weeks, maybe try again and drink tons of water. Tylenol Extra Strength rapid release gels are exactly what my doctor told me to take during that time, and they did help a bit.
If it doesn't work this time, tell your doctor and they can hook you up with something else.

Why not try an SSRI?
i too take wellbutrin xl 150..and i don't get headaches like that. have you talked to your doc about it?? could be something other then the meds
