i was diagnosed with it 12 years ago(panic disorder), let me tell you there is no standard answers. my doctor put me on paroxotine and it took about 4 weeks to really start to work. since then attacks are few and far in between and less severe. i feel as though i am having a heart attack some times, some times i feel like i cant breathe left arm goes numb get sick at my stomach shake , and on and on. the best thing to do is learn what the triggers are and avoid them its different for everyone. hope this helps. go see your doctor medicine really helped me

anxiety attacks are persistent, intense, and chronic fear of being watched and judged by others and being embarrassed or humiliated by their own actions. Their fear may be so severe that it interferes with work or school, and other ordinary activities. Physical symptoms often accompany the intense anxiety of social places
and include profuse sweating, trembling, nausea, and difficulty talking.

i had my first panic attack 14 years ago. it came out of no where..and they still do. the last one i had was a few months ago and i was really, really sick.. i was so miserable that i was sure i was going to die---which in turn ended up being a massive panic attack that lasted about 2 days.

i am sick to my stomach, scared out of my mind, paranoid, dellusional (sometimes) sweaty. it's terrible.

i am on lexapro 20mg, wellbutrin xl 150 mg, and xanax 1mg PRN. i wish i could say that you will outgrow it--maybe you will...i never did. its almost like allergies...i get it once or twice a year but when i do it is horrible!!

good luck
