yes it has because I've had a rough past with my friends and never had a good relatioship with my parents. Keeping a journal helps me release everything from my mind and just lets me vent and makes me feel better. I've never had that person to talk to about things and let know how I really feel so I'd use my journal and have a release. Its also basically whats kept me alive the past few years dealing with depression and SI and all the stress of school.

It's been very helpful. I can express my emotions, just writing things out...it's like...make things much more easier to deal with. Once you make the problems something physical, you can orgnize them. Also, you can look back on what you wrote...it's amazing when you see how far you've come and the success that you've had. It's helpful and I reccomend it.

I couldn't write with pen and paper because my hand would cramp, so I wrote it on the computer. Don't blog it, write it in a word document and save it.

Yea, I have over 2000 entries & shows how much i improved over the years of having it. This is an online journal.

No. I find that I work better by writing down my important thoughts/ideas on a piece of scrap paper, and keep all the scraps in one place. Recording every action of my day just doesn't work for me.

I belong to a diary online & I have been there since 2003 & I have over 3000 private/public entries. When I look back I can see a change in myself. It shows the good stuff as well as the tough stuff. It helped me open up, & write what I want as well as venting over something that happend at home. I hope to keep it so I can continue making improvements. Its a lot better then paper jouanals & the people who are also members are really nice too. I'm proud for what I have done!

Yes, defiantly. i wrote down stuff when i was feeling crap and then read it over and checked if I was over-reacting, and tried to be more realistic. I had anxiety and depression issues, which keeping a journal helped alot.
