Can i go from 600mg lithium to 0mg?!

You should never just drop a heavy drug like this all at once. If you have bipolar, please stay on your meds. If you go off, you are not in a good position to judge how you are feeling, cos your illness makes that difficult.

Please discuss this with your doctor to see if he/she is willing to lower your dose to see how it goes. This process should always be monitored by a professional.

It'd be a lot smarter to do a week at 300mg. What's the rush, anyway? Oh, and Lithium rebound can happen a couple months out.

Your body has become adapted to the presence of a certain amount of lithium. Going off the lithium cold turkey will cause withdrawal symptoms, some of which are merely unpleasant and others can be dangerous. Some of these symptoms will involve your heart and brain, others may involve your kidneys.
