Do you think spending time on Yahoo answers contributes towards Depression?!

Question: No it shouldn't. Please don't be sad. you know I will help if I can. You have told me on several occasions that I make you laugh so I can only apologise that I haven't done that today cos I haven't been around much. Smile just for me !

no, if anything it has helped me, i wouldn't of got the courage to tell my mum n dad about my ocd and depression without it,

Probably, because you don't interact with people face-to-face, which is good for combatting depression.

No.

yeah i think it does. i spend far to much time on yahoo answers which means i don't get much else done. eg. no studying, no house work.....all which makes me depressed!!

no unless you become depressed by looking at a computer screen

in a way as you can't be identified and some of the questions are really personal!! and disgusting!!

Hmm , let me think , no it doesn't not for me anyways.

i think it could
but i also think it helps you find answers your looking for and get a laugh
while that is great and all you need interaction with other humans face to face not via yahoo answers
im on this quite a bit, almost lvl 4 in fact
but im never depressed on it
dont just sit here looking at questions all day talk to people have fun even ask some goofy questions if you want just relax and enjoy it
it could though, sitting here looking at all everyone else is doing needing to know answers to things they do in daily life, if you dont have much to do or anything to do i can see how that would affect a person mentally but thats why you should get out and do other things and enjoy life

no it helps me to know i can sometimes help other people
