I'm lazy...help...?!

Question: Okay lately i have been really lazy, im 14 years old and its really starting to be a problem. I used to love school and had really good grades. But this year i've been really lazy in school and just in general. I mean i do my homework during class or i dont do it at all. I'm only serious about math because im in the 8th grade but im taking 9th grade math, so i know that math actually matters. I also just never do anything, i never do stuff with my friends and family cuz i just dont feel like it. I've also been really sad lately (really really sad) and I'm thinking if i can stop just sitting around all the time i might be happier. But i need some help on where to start to stop being so lazy, all i ever do is sit around on the computer, listen to music or watch TV. It's the start of a new term and i really want to improve.

Any ideas?

try harder

join a club.

Get some exercise. Take a walk around the block after school. You need to get your body moving. Not sure where you live, but if you have snowy, dreary winter days, the weather can be playing a part. Get out with your friends. You are too young to be just sitting around.

I am not a doctor, but it sounds like you have depression. You need to speak to your parents or doctor about this before it gets worse. They have medicine that can really help you.

Hang in there, it wont last forever. You'll be fine!
