If your not fully sleeping, are you still getting healthy sleep?!

Question: If you are laying in bed and not sleeping but eyes are shut. Just maybe thinking but not falling asleep, do you still get something healthy from that?

Not if it's in substitute for real sleep. But for a 'me time' rest and you have plenty of normal sleep then that can do a bit of good.

Ur just resting. You are conserving your energy

NO you need Deep REM sleep to regenerate

I doubt it considering I did this the other night, got up and did my daily routines feeling extremely exhausted.

You got to catch you're zzz's man.
