Yup, thats an anxiety attack :) And dont let anyone make you think otherwise. Ive had em many times and they can be scary if you dont learn how to control them b4 the attacks control you. In order to do so you have to make yourself realize (mentally) that you are having an attack rather than something more severe. Its a huge mistake to start imagining different things that you think might be wrong with you because that can make things worse or even spin out of control. So tell yourself as many times as you need to that you are having nothing more than an anxiety attack and you can make it through this until you begin realizing that you can actually get through it. It sounds retarded, but hear me out. By saying this, you are telling your mind and body an honest fact, and you can shut down your symptoms in no time once you do accept the fact that its just an attack of whatever is overwhelming you. The best ingredient to anxiety overall though is exercise.....any doctor will tell you this. Both stress and anxiety can be soothed through a good exercise session because it is the best way to naturally relax your body once your finished with the workout. It relates to what I was explaining above because the process of telling your mind and body to chill out, its just an anxiety attack, is just another form of attempting to relax yourself. You ever been on a plane? Im sure youve at least heard of the oxgen masks on planes or people using airbags to help breath if theyre in jeopardy of crashing or something. The oxygen actually gets you high forcing you to relax, but the bag is suppose to help you control your breathing so you dont hyperventilate. Im not trying to sound like a whiz here, this is just stuff I find interesting that people should know. Trust me though, relaxing is the key...........so drink water, take deep breaths, exercise.......anything you can do to relax do it. Just dont rush it, you have to realize you cant just get rid of it at the snap of your fingers, itll most likely take some time. Trying to force yourself to relax (which will make it worst) and relaxing are two different things. GL, and feel free to contact me if you have future problems. Unfortunately, Im a veteran when it comes to anxiety....lol!

You should go back in time and procrastinate less.

ok well i get them too only mine are all day every day (at times worse) so what you need to do it you need to get into the bathtub (forget all aobut your school work for now or do it b4 you get in the bath) and set candles up all over . turn out the lights. put some lavender oil int eh bathtub and just lie in there for like an hour or something. play some relaxing music also. and practice your breathing breathe in for 5 seconds hold for 5 seconds and breathe out for 5 seconds. and just relax. every thing will be fin sweety.

take deep breaths & focus on something. deep breaths in & out. & if you keep doing this, maybe you will calm down a bit. if you can, take some time to do something you enjoy. sometimes distractions help. ive been getting chest pains, i know bc i have so much going on as well. i have been doing great but i know with something that is coming up. im all anxious. not always easy to deal with.
