I'm 15 and...?!

Question: I feel like I'm in a rut. I feel like my life is going no where fast. Its like everyone else my age is much better in everything. I wanna be good in some skills like sound edit/creation but I just don't have the attention span to learn it.

Anyone have any ideas on how to help my self esteem and stop being so lame?

You'll hit a rut every couple-few years. Those people who are really skilled in ___ are like that because they like it so much they worked their @ss off to learn it and get better at it. Find something you really enjoy. Could be anything. Then keep doing it until you master it.

you have to go and see what ur friends r doing ..if you don't do nothing ...you get nothing

Seek him from a school councellor or through your family doctor, it's very common for your age. Self esteem is one of those things that you have to learn why yours is so low and how to get out of it.

You could also go to the library. Self Esteen is one of the hardest things in life to build up. I'll find myself saying oh I wish I had half the self esteem as so and so....

It's something you need to work on, get yourself better so that you can be an asset to yourself, coworkers and mates.

I went through the same thing when i was Your age a few years ago....you just need to find something you really like. I you truly like it you will have the drive and desire to learn it. For me it was magic, and now I'm looking at a summer contract on a beach-front Boardwalk....there is hope for everybody, it just might take a little bit of time for you....the worst thing you can do is give up!

Do you have learning problems? Short attention span could be a sign of ADD, which can be helped. Talk to a guidance counselor at school. Get evaluated.

My husband has ADD. He is brilliant but had lots of trouble in school - he did terribly on exams. It was only diagnosed when he was in his 40s! He takes medication now and has become a totally different person!

Good luck.

Your only 15!!!!!!!!!! You have tons of time to get what you need. & there is hope. If you give up, thats a choice but do something you enjoy, go out, make new friends. Join clubs. Join online to some games. Do something that YOU enjoy!
