Time is only a trick of the mind.
Which is relevant because it really means that it is YOU who is "making" it fly by. Not thinking about time "flying by" is a good first step to avoid the feeling.
(Do you remember your childhood? Time "passed" at the same rate as it does now, and yet you felt tomorrow was an eternity away... right?)

Happiness, love, success... it's all a matter of perception. YOU are the only one who can find way to realise them.

I think you would profit greatly by googling around and finding some good forum or website about "reality creation" (and I don't mean the blasted "Secret" - although it's better than this false, self-induced feeling of inadequacy that you seem to be having, I suppose).

Most of all, question yourself - really deeply - about what happiness" and "success" mean to YOU (not to other people). And then convince yourself that already ARE living that reality.

It's NOT self-trickery - certainly no more than your present feelings. If it's all subjective - and it is - than go for the HAPPY "subjective feeling". ;)

Good luck!

Your doing to much and you need to slow down and,get a girl Friend.

set up goals for yourself
short term ones that help you achieve the long term ones

really do it & stick to it
harder than it sounds

Well slow down and live in the moment, enjoy where you are right now. These things will come but if you are looking into the past, or into the future, you won't even notice them.

If you have one foot in the past, and one in the future, you are pissing all over today!

Could you possibly be wasting a lot of it thinking about the past or worrying about how fast the future is coming?

Take one day at a time. None of us is promised tomorrow.

I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans". Just accomplish something small today and build from there.

this really isn't the forum to answer such deep questions, but there are several natural supplements you can use to get the most of your body and mind. Not everyone can be rich and famous, so find things within your reach to enrich your existence.

Happiness, Love and Success. You need to work hard at all three. I don't know how old you are, but it sounds like you're in a mid-life crisis. If you're young, you're too young to worry about these things. It will come to you. Just work at being the best person you can be. Work hard, look for opportunities to advance in your life. Let love come to you, don't look so hard for it. Enjoy the little things in life. Appreciate everything you have. There are others that have it worse than you, I'm sure. Always remember that.

I think its normal to feel that way i feel the same i look back and i achieved nothing in life until the past year, you need to set yourself a goal whether it is to take part in a course or a new job opportunity e.c.t on top of that you should actively seek someone you might like go to places and ask your mates if they no anyone you could meet, happiness should follow.

do you remember the six week summer holidays as a child i do . i thought they lasted for ever!! you must still be quite young yet. and believe me. you have loads of time to do all the things you want to do . its good to think back at times.. put your aims and goals in life down on paper and work out in which order you would like to achieve them . work out aways in which you can achieve one by one. imagine each step and the fun you can have along the way. i bet you have already accomplished a fair bit , even small things count. when i have doubts i get two slips of paper i write the good points on one and bad points on the other try it ,you will have accomplished far more than you realise go on give it a go and come back and tell us the answers

your going through a phase. i went through it too, the exact same thing..those thoughts would run through my head, and would become really sad, that was when i was about 12. later on i found out while talking to a friend that he had gone through it too. becareful of who you tell though, because another friend said that it was weird. you will get over it soon, when i did i became the same happy person i was before (and during [it was just before bed that i would get sad, when i had time to just think]). just keep looking up

thats your biggest problem...you can't go back to the past...you need to forget it and go on..you have depression...seek help...only you can turn your life around and make it happy....go back to school??never to late...i got my bachlors at 40....are you out and about so your love can find you...can't just sit home...success...depends on how you measure that...money?..i don't...happiness..yes...you can have lots of money and not be happy...you maybe happier working at McDonalds than in an office...i been there..office is not everything..lots of cut throat people..ralize what you want out of life and go for it.....
