HOW Long???!
Question: I have been on Lexapro for over a year now 20mg. And just recently tapered myself off. It has been 2 days since I have had any at all.
My question is: How long do the withdrawl symptoms last?? IE: the flu like feeling, the dizziness.....oh yea and also about how long until I will start seeing some weight loss. Since Lexapro cause major weight gain!!

Detox could take up to 2 wks. Weight loss vaires on individual. Hope you discussed going off these meds w/your doctor. It's dangerous to stop without sound medical advisement.
The withdrawal symptoms may last for several more days. You've had a lot of it in your system for a while. You should discuss this with your doctor.
Weight loss depends on diet and exercise. I know Lexapro causes weight gain, but taking it off will require eating less or exercising, or both. Did you and your doctor decide to go off Lexapro or was this your decision alone?
