Are these symptoms of depression?!

Question: I do not feel constant outward sadness, but I have noticed it is hard for me to smile (as in times when a fake laugh would be appropriate or smiling for a picture) and I find it nearly impossible to pay attention in some classes. Could this be depression?

yes, is there anyone you can talk to? Sit down and really take a look at your life in the last 6 minths. what has changed?

you might start to journal that helps to pour the fellings out in a positive way.

good luck, friend

Everyone is familiar with mild depression but severe depression is totally different it can throw you into a psychotic episode and give you feelings you think are going to destroy you .

Hey. I have had times were I was depressed. I don't know why but I always felt as though the bad thoughts I keep thinking were going to come true. If you don't smoke weed already, Im not suggesting to go out and become a pothead. Im asking you to try it and think of things in the world that don't make sense and you will start to see that you aren't the weird one its every other **** In this world that think they no how to live life. You will become more happy with yourself. But you can't think bad thoughts because when you do that you might start to think even more bad thoughts. Listen I have had my ups and down for only being 18, I can say I truly understand life and am happy to go on with this great thing everyone was given, "Life"

Peace.

Everyone is going to get depressed in there life.
You just need to talk to someone, and evaluate your life to see what's makeing you feel sad.

No that's just plain old Boredom.

Depression is characterized by a markedly low mood, feelings of unwarranted guilt and/or worthlessness that lasts for more than two weeks and affects your daily functioning. If you've been feeling more down than usually, and have noticed your eating/sleeping/thinking habits change for the worse, you should probably get it checked out. As for the difficulty concentrating, it could just be boredom, or a symptom. Go see a professional if it's interfering too much in your life; they'll know best what to do from there.

yes i could be, go see a doctor for some help
