How do teens get rid of stress?!

Question: Some things I did:

Read the daily comic strips; listen to music; read a book in the shower (yeah, I used to photocopy the pages onto transparency film); go catch lizards by the railroad tracks in the center of town (with my brother); hang out in the treehouse; browse the thesaurus for alternative words for "toilet"; find funny sounding words in the dictionary, and go use them on my friends; make graham cracker gingerbread houses; write a movie then film it (3 minutes or less of video); watch a movie in a language I didn't know...

i'm not sure..
but let me know when you find out
ahahah

by finding someone to talk to a adult or older sibling but be sure you are safe with the person you are talking to

really there is no way out of stress, but to make things better, a lot of time teens hang out with a best friend who they know can cheer them up, take a hot bath or shower, go somewhere to be alone or think about things, or sometimes do an activity, that will keep their mind of their problem, like swimming

The same way adults do or can,
-meditation refocuses the mind off the stress causing stuff
-exercise tires the body and makes dealing with the mind easier
-talking to someone like a friend or parent
-create coping mechanisms where the things that cause stress can be reduced in importance so it does not overwhelm your life.
If you can learn this stuff as a teen, you will save hundreds in co-pays later in life :)

STRESS: See stress treatments, at *ezy-build, below on page 42. Practise daily, one of the relaxation techniques on pages 2, 11, 2c, or 2i; whichever works best for you, but the mindfulness breathing for 15 - 20 mns is ideal, although the progressive muscle relaxation can be learned quickly, and takes only several minutes, if pressed for time. Employ the EFT version for use in public, for which you can reasonably claim that you have a headache, as you massage/tap your temples, but it may be advisable to restrict yourself to subvocalising (saying it to yourself, in your mind, not aloud). Section 53, and pages 2, 2.q and 2.o refer. "Even though I sometimes suffer from stress, I deeply and completely accept myself". You can also multitask, using the gazing technique, as you walk/jog or exercise, by focusing on a distant object, noting any thoughts which flash across your mind, without pursuing any particular train of thought, just gently redirect your focus to the gazing. Yoga, or Tai Chi may suit others, better. Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily, replacing 2 of them with cod liver oil supplements, or a teaspoonful of the oil (I spread mine on toast, and mask its strong taste with fishpaste, and pepper), in the winter months only, and eat healthily, in accordance with your "nutritional type" as determined at http://www.mercola.com/ SEARCHBAR. http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris*
